The government will seek legal advice on how it should handle catechism classes offered by the York English and Chinese Kindergarten. Secretary for Education Michael Suen Ming-yeung told a Legislative Council meeting the decision on litigation depended on details requested from the school and parents. The nursery in Kowloon Tong was found to have charged for Catholic conversion classes for parents and teachers, and the company receiving the money was linked to school directors.
