Corrections and clarifications

The article 'Downward mobility' on A15 on November 2 should have said 'the number of households with a combined income of less than HK$10,000 had jumped from 498,600 in 1999 to 649,900 in 2009, while those with less than HK$25,000 had risen from 1,319,500 to 1,511,600 (or two-thirds of the total)', not 'three-quarters of the city's households'. The error was introduced in the editing process.
