OFFICIALS were last night trying to obtain information from Vietnam about the reported deaths of two Hong Kong fishermen in a boarding incident off the country's coast.
The report was made to Hong Kong's Maritime Rescue Centre by the crew of a fishing vessel which said the Hong Kong boat was drifting with a flooded engine room.
A spokesman for the centre said the report had been received on Tuesday afternoon. Officers had tried to contact the Hong Kong vessel by radio.
