With her biggest concert to date coming up in January, it's unlikely that Kary Ng Yu-fei will have time for a Christmas holiday getaway. The Canto-pop sensation nevertheless took time out to help launch the latest resort collection of Australian fashion brand Sass & Bide.
Ng showed up at Harvey Nichols in The Landmark on Friday, dressed from head to toe in separates and accessories from the brand's Fantastic Projects! line, including a tank top-shoulder wrap covered in sparkling crystal spikes and a pair of art-deco inspired leggings which 'make my legs look miles long'.
'I've experimented over the years with different styles, both on and off stage.
'I always seem to come back to more street-influenced, boyish, edgy clothes - with elements like the bold use of orange in this collection,' she says.
Going into her ninth year in the entertainment industry, Ng has noticeably gained more confidence in her craft and her look.
'In the past few years, I've been dressing myself for public appearances and working more closely with the stylist to create looks for my concerts.'
