TEN stolen luxury cars worth about $4.8 million were recovered on the waterfront near the Yau Ma Tei cargo handling area. The cars - two Mercedes-Benz, five BMWs and three Japanese makes - were found in three containers about to be shipped to Whampoa in Guangzhou.

A police source said the cars were the biggest single consignment recovered in recent months. Six men were arrested.
