The supervisor of Lantau International School in Pui O, Serge Berthier, filed a High Court writ yesterday to seek a judicial review over orders that require it to reduce the noise pupils make at break times. The Noise Control Authority and its appeal board have refused the school's appeal against two noise reduction orders. The authority served the order after a neighbour complained two years ago. The school accuses the authority of denying pupils the right to relax.
