Soldier on theft counts

A MEMBER of the Royal Hong Kong (Volunteer's) Regiment paid for two visits to a North Point sauna palace with credit cards he stole from two fellow soldiers, the District Court heard yesterday.

Liu Yum-bong, 33, pleaded not guilty to 15 charges - five of theft, two of obtaining services by deception and eight of obtaining property by deception between November 1992 and January 1993.
