How to read these listings General The directory is divided into two sections: the first features local tertiary institutions, including those funded by the University Grants Committee, as well as the private Open University of Hong Kong, Chu Hai College and Hong Kong Shue Yan University. The second part features other providers, including those run as local offices of overseas institutions, non-profit-making institutes, and private businesses. The overseas courses offered by other providers that are listed in this directory are registered with the Non Local Courses Registry, found at www.edb.gov.hk/ncr . Some operators may also offer non-registered courses through distance learning.
