A smile started it and a smile greeted the news when Natalie Hau was told she had won a four-day trip for two to the Dubai World Championship 2010, as part of a South China Morning Post promotion sponsored by UBS and Emirates airline. Contestants were asked who they thought was the greatest Hong Kong Open winner and why, and it was Lin Wen-tang's 18th-hole heroics in 2008 that impressed Hau. Many for Tom Watson, Greg Norman, Jose Maria Olazabal and Hsieh Yung-yo, but Lin made one of the greatest shots ever at Fanling - from the trees on the 18th hole - to help him to the title. 'His smile will forever be in my memory,' Hau said. And her nine-year-old golf-mad daughter Colette was happy, too, when her parents decided to pay extra to take her along as well. 'I'm so happy I can still hardly speak,' said Hau.
