Douglas Whyte may not win either of the feature races this afternoon, but he will go close to winning on his remaining six rides and looks a standout bet at $3 in the Jockey Challenge.

Darren Beadman ($5.50) and Brett Prebble ($5.50) look Whyte's biggest threats on the back of their headline horses, but there is little value in those quotes when they have to topple a strong favourite.

Whyte has a book brimming with young talents and, under his expert guidance, Just Fantastic, Saddlers Lodge, Young Turbo and Lucky Bravo can stand up and be counted.

Just Fantastic has come up as a hot overnight favourite and can get Whyte off to a flying start in the opener, before promising Saddlers Lodge adds to the tally in race three for trainer Sean Woods.

John Size has provided great support once again and will be hoping a drop in grade and switch to the all-weather track may do the trick for Kowloon Pride in race four, before talented four-year-olds Young Turbo and Lucky Bravo make their mark in races five and six respectively.

Sight Winner and Tai Sing Yeh get their chance at Group level in two strong fields, but don't put it past the champion rider to weave some magic and cause a boilover in the big ones.
