If a collaboration is a win-win for two sides, then the 30METhing in Common project must be aiming for a quadruple impact. Four local fashion brands - Fingercroxx, 4A, :Chocoolate and 30METhing - have come up with a capsule collection of everything in casualwear, from T-shirts to hoodies and even toy figurines. A few stars dropped in for the launch party at the EXI.T store in Causeway Bay on Friday, including 30METhing's co-founders - radio host turned stand-up comedian Jan Lamb Hoi-fung (right) and Eric Kot Man-fai. The pair, who used to be members of Canto-pop band Soft and Hardcore Kids, have every reason to be excited, but they sounded slightly bitter on their big day. 'We call it our local fashion world's Four Station Awards, since we no longer have one in the music industry,' Lamb said, referring to the annual music awards handed out jointly by RTHK, TVB, Commercial Broadcasting and Metro Broadcasting, which was suspended this year due to a row over royalties. 'Of course, I feel it's a great pity. Now we can only have these collaborations in fashion. We hope it will satisfy some fans.' Lamb said Soft and Hardcore Kids were taking a break from performing.
