Ephraim Bano of rock band, The Merriweather Deer

1. Norwegian Wood - The Beatles

I love everything about this song, although I don't know what Lennon is singing about. Every chance I get to fiddle with a guitar, I find myself playing the intro of this song.

2. Into Your Arms - Starmarket

Excellent Swedish indie rock outfit from the late 1990s. This is a strong track to start an awesome album, Four Hours Light. Every time I hear this song, it takes me back to 1999.

3. For Once in My Life - Stevie Wonder

My wife and I are big Stevie fans. It'd be a dream to see him play live some day and hear him play some hits from his back catalogue. Especially this track. You can't help bopping your head once you hear the first few seconds of this song.

4. Folds in Your Hands - Passion Pit

This is a relatively new hip band and I'll probably forget about them a few years from now, but at the moment this song puts me in a good mood every time I hear it on my iPod.

5. Every Shining Time You Arrive - Sunny Day Real Estate

Another excellent band from the 1990s. This song is timeless and still moves me like the first time I heard it in my teens.
