Create two wards for boys and girls
According to a recent news report, a five-year-old girl was sexually harassed by a 13-year-old  boy in the children's ward at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. It's unacceptable that such a thing could happen in Hong Kong. 
Hospitals and the authorities must ensure the safety and well-being of children receiving medical care. It would be a good step to create separate wards for boys and girls, as has been proposed. Nurses should also pay closer attention to any improper relationship between patients.

Some tips about how to study better
Secondary school students face lots of challenges, including exam pressure. To get good results, we should have effective study skills.
Here are some of my tips.
First, always pay attention in class and take notes painstakingly. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand something. You should also try and answer teachers' questions. It also helps to have study partners because you can discuss your lessons and subjects together. You can learn a lot from other students.
Second, you should develop better study skills. I recommend you set a timetable for the revision of each subject. If you do not plan your time well before the exam, you may not have enough time for study. Many students neglect their weak subjects because they think their knowledge of them will not improve much anyway. That's a mistake. Regular study can work wonders.
Finally, I would like to give you some exam tips. Always have enough sleep before an exam. During the exam, keep calm and pay attention to the instructions in the exam paper. Make sure not to dwell too long on some answers, but rather try to answer them all.

We must do our best for the environment
Climate change has become a concern among Hong Kong people. More and more of them are aware of the problem yet seem to do nothing about it themselves.
You often hear people calling on the government to improve air quality by introducing new laws or asking bus companies to phase out the use of diesel engines. 
Yet many of these same people would not sacrifice their own comfort or convenience for the sake of the environment. 
A little effort by many people could make a big difference. We can all lead lower carbon emission lifestyles. We can use more efficient light bulbs and appliances. We can use more public transport instead of private vehicles.
Hong Kong people also need to reduce their amount of domestic waste urgently. Domestic waste increases the release of methane into the environment. Methane is one of the key contributors to the greenhouse effect. 
Finally, we can do simple things like taking the stairs, instead of using the lift, if we want to travel only between a few floors.
Rather than wait for others to do something about climate change, you can start helping the environment on your own.

Small-class teaching needs reviewing
Both the benefits and drawbacks of proposed small-class teaching should be explored in detail before we can reach a decision on it.
No doubt, small-class teaching can benefit students. In smaller classes, teachers can pay more attention to each student. Resources and study materials can also be used more effectively.
Yet small-class education could also be a disadvantage for some students. Some schools may be shut down and students from them may end up in other schools where their knowledge is already well ahead of their classmates. This could mean many students would lose the optimum conditions for effective learning. 
I am not against small-class teaching, but as a secondary school student I think small-class teaching would often benefit a school more than its students. 
I firmly believe that before the proposed plan for small-class teaching is implemented, we can have an honest discussion about its pros and cons. Let's not make rash decisions that might have long-lasting negative effects.
