Based on a 5th Arrondissement-styled street in Paris - 'jie' means street in Putonghua - the restaurant promises guests the full Parisian experience from the moment they walk in. General manager Shimpei Matsuda incorporates accessories and products from Paris to make the restaurant feel and look like an apartment. Images of storefronts, pedestrian crossings and paintings of Parisian pavements adorn the walls, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Meanwhile, a balcony on the second floor overlooks street lights and a toilet designed like a metro station echo the French capital's culture and stylish vibe.
From happy hour to late night, business travellers can mix commerce with pleasure at the lounge and bar, which is stacked with French newspapers and magazines, making it the best spot to enjoy after-work drinks and a gourmet, laid-back dinner. Signature picks include the gambas flambees in a Champagne sauce, beef tenderloin with wine sauce and homemade French frites, and French red wine hot pot.
