THE sale of cut-price flats in Henderson Land's Sunshine City development at Ma On Shan got off to a slow start at the weekend. By close of sale on Saturday, only 15 to 30 per cent of the 68 apartments made available were said to have been sold - despite an eight per cent cut in the average price from a similar batch of units sold in mid-March.
The flats, measuring from 461 square foot to 832 sq ft, were offered at $5,577 a sq ft. Marketing efforts continued yesterday, but site agents refused to comment on sales.
