Manila crisis survivor turns 19 in hospital

Jason Leung Song-xue, who suffered brain damage during the Manila hostage crisis, celebrated his 19th birthday in Tuen Mun Hospital yesterday with Chief Executive Donald Tsang Yam-kuen and top health officials, including Secretary for Food and Health Dr York Chow Yat-ngok and Hospital Authority chairman Anthony Wu Ting-yuk. Tsang and the authority gave him a camera as a birthday present, and the teenager enjoyed some birthday cake.
