Gary James, tax partner, BDO Limited
Following stints at international accounting firms in Britain and the Channel Islands, James brought his talents to Hong Kong, where he now specialises in international tax planning for corporations and expatriates. In his new role, James focuses on helping multinationals expand in China and the Asia-Pacific region. His portfolio includes a variety of clients, ranging from manufacturing firms to financial services providers.
Joanne Lee, assistant VP and financial controller, Manulife Hong Kong
Lee now oversees all controller functions at the company, including planning, reporting, budgeting, treasury management, cash management and financial compliance. She holds bachelor's degrees in accountancy and actuarial science, and is a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
