Former chef's Invincible plan defeated

UK-based businessman Lam Kin-bong, a former Hong Kong chef, sees his dream of turning HMS Invincible, one of Britain's best known aircraft carriers, into a floating international school off Zhuhai, scuppered. He bid GBP5 million (HK$62.6 million) for the vessel, but the British sold it to Turkey for scrap for only GBP2 million.
