Mid-Levels man found dead

A Swedish man was found dead in the lift lobby of Cartwright Gardens on Bonham Road at about 10.15am yesterday. Paramedics were called to the block of flats after the man, 34, was found unconscious on the 21st floor. Police gave his name as Stephan, and said he smelled strongly of alcohol. He was declared dead at the scene. A police officer said there was no sign of injury or anything of a suspicious nature. Police said an autopsy was likely to be carried out.
