Warm and witty
A little bit of boho and quite a lot of quirk, these witty hand-embroidered scarves are by young Danish brand Fummel & Kram. Since its inception, in 2003, the label has attracted a legion of fans devoted to its bright, fun and colourful pieces. We love the black and yellow scarf embroidered with cartoon characters and footballs (above left; HK$3,680) and the blue and black one with birds, mandalas and pink and black polka-dot ribbons (below left; HK$4,480). Fummel & Kram scarves are available at Seibu, Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2971 3888.
Vested interest
Sequined prints are not for every man, but Just Cavalli's black knit, zip-up vest, with beige and grey sequins arranged in an animal print (left; HK$9,000), is a sophisticated take on something that sounds like it should belong on Broadway. While this is one of the more flamboyant pieces, the bold and glamorous tone is continued throughout the label's spring-summer collection. The offerings echo the 1970s and feature aged leather, 'super washed' and bleached denim and laser prints. Just Cavalli is in Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2918 1101.
Easy Chic
Clean lines and clear ideas have always been a part of C'N'C Costume National's design language and its spring-summer collection once again features edgy clothes with simple, wearable silhouettes. The classic men's tuxedo jacket (right; HK$3,850) gets an urban makeover, made from black double-faced jersey with a gold zip in place of buttons. In fact, buttons are absent throughout the collection, with belts and zips used instead. C'N'C Costume National is in Times Square, Causeway Bay, tel: 2506 0700.
