Cheers to the city's singletons on this special day. Today, you can finally and openly taunt your not-so-single friends pulling strings to book a fancy candlelit dinner and hunt down a much-anticipated Valentine's Day gift because if they still haven't got those sorted out by now, they are most likely in trouble.

Well, after all it's a day we celebrate priceless love and with the help of technology, no gift ideas are too late.

To plug its Love Love collection, jeweller Carat launched a series of treasure-hunting events in shopping malls around town in past weeks and is now moving the contest online.

Here is how it works: browse Carat's online shopping site today to look for a banner of a pair of heart and question-mark pendants (pictured), which will be randomly popping out throughout the day. Take a screenshot, e-mail the image to [email protected] and also post it on Carat's Facebook page with captions, 'I found the love at Carat'. Ten randomly selected lucky winners will go home with online shopping vouchers.

Sparkly jewellery is hard to go wrong with but we can't say the same about a post-it note reading 'free kisses'. For more details, check out the shopping.carat.cc site.
