When you party in the Caribbean, don't you just have to have a luxury yacht outside your door? Cove Spring House on Barbados is not for sale, but Nick Guezen, of Luxury Retreats, says it's been discussed and if it were on the market it would be listed in excess of US$70 million.

'We've rented this home to a number of celebrities - hence the party catamaran parked out in front,' he says.

The price spectrum is vast: homes on or near the beach on a Caribbean island can cost from US$1.5 million to more than US$100 million.
