SECURITY measures at Kai Tak airport cost $123 million last year. The money paid for measures implemented by the Civil Aviation Department and the police, costing $6.03 million and $117 million respectively, Secretary for Security Alistair Asprey said. The airlines provided security services including the screening of passengers and baggage.
