INTERNATIONAL accountancy firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has opened a branch in Ho Chi Minh City.

It is the only American firm of its kind to establish a permanent presence in Vietnam with US Treasury Department approval.

The company said the office would serve clients with interests in the emerging country.
