Former weather girl Icy Wong is cool as you like about her new job as a quiz show host

She made her name as TVB's over-qualified weather girl.

Now Icy Wong Yuen-man is furthering her career with a new profile-boosting anchor job for Now TV's popular quiz show Action-to-Money.

Wong (pictured) was seated in the front row at American fashion house Joan & David's spring-summer collection preview at the weekend at Central's The French Window restaurant.

She was seen rubbing shoulders with celebrity guests and socialites such as veteran actress Dodo Cheng Yu-ling and model couple Jocelyn Luko and Anthony Sandstrom.

Wong said the quiz show had become a popular topic of conversation among her friends. 'I got text messages from friends - some of whom I haven't seen for 10 years - asking for tips to win,' she said.

'My parents used to watch the show but they can't participate because I'm the anchor and they don't want to get me into trouble.'
