The happy ending of the fairytale would have been completely different.  No one  would know if the prince would have been bold enough to kiss  Snow White. If he hadn't, would he and Snow White have fallen in love?  But one thing is for sure: The wicked  queen would have continued to haunt  Snow White, making  her life miserable, whether she was with the prince or not.

 If Snow White hadn't  eaten the apple, she wouldn't have met the prince. The point of the apple in the story was to poison Snow White so the prince could rescue her. Even if Snow White hadn't eaten the apple, the evil  queen would still find a way to kill her.  And then she would have had no chance of coming back to life. This would  result in an unhappy ending which nobody would have liked.

 If Snow White hadn't eaten the apple, the story would not have been  a fairytale - it would have become a tragedy. Snow White  would  live with, clean and cook for her dwarf friends. But  at some point she and her friends would try to sneak away and live a better life. The queen would go to their house every week, but Snow White would be nowhere in sight.

 The Queen would probably find some other way to kill Snow White. There would be no happy ending, and   we would never  have heard of Snow White.  That's just not how things work.  No one would want to watch a boring animation in which  the princess does not get  the prince.

Snow White didn't take the apple because it was too red - like the 'fake apples' from the mainland. She was a smart consumer and noticed the apple was rotten, and was covered by a layer of uneven red paint. The seven dwarfs came home just in time to capture the evil queen and take her to the police station.

 An apple a day keeps the doctor away. If Snow White didn't take the apple, she would never have gone into slumber and would never have met the prince.  And the queen would have had to use her Plan B - giving her some beautiful but poisonous  accessories.  But  Snow White didn't take the apple and had to see a doctor because she was undernourished. The doctor saved her life, and they lived happily ever after.
