HKUST orchestra honours musical greats

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's University Philharmonic Orchestra will perform several classical overtures from the likes of Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Beethoven for its fifth anniversary concert at Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre on March 22. The group will be led by conductor Ken Cheng and will also feature a violin solo by Matthew Tang. Tickets are priced at HK$80 to HK$120 - with half price for full-time students - from ihome.ust.hk/~su_upo/.

Psychology Society goes mental The University of Hong Kong's (HKU) Psychology Society is hosting a trip to Castle Peak Hospital in Tuen Mun on Monday. The visit will allow members to meet with practising psychologists to gain a better understanding of the profession and the challenges they might face should they decide to pursue a career in the field.
