PRC officials hypocritical
I WATCHED with interest Lu Ping's visit to Hong Kong in which he met with bank officials and made comments on the Governor being insincere.
It seems to me that when a state official representing Beijing comes to Hong Kong, it is basic protocol for him to pay a visit to the leaders in charge, including the Governor.
Mr Lu has not only ignored protocol, but has made a number of excuses for this neglect.
In addition, he finished off his visit by accusing Mr Patten of insincerity.
It seems that China's officials in charge of Hong Kong and Macau Affairs have made hypocrisy a habit.
