SCMP Reporter

A construction worker was charged yesterday with attempting to murder a 14-year-old girl in Tuen Mun. Chan Sze-ming, 44, allegedly attacked the girl in a park outside Hing Shing House, Tai Hing Estate, on Monday. Police said the girl sustained multiple chop wounds to her chest.  No plea was entered yesterday in Tuen Mun Court and the case was adjourned to April 4. Chan was remanded in custody.
