Between the lines
This season Bottega Veneta continues its quest to make clothing that sit between formal and casual wear. Combining classic menswear tailoring with sportswear and casual wear, the brand's latest line features pieces that are loose-fitting and comfort- able, but retain a sense of elegance. We love the baggy navy jacket (HK$15,680) and matching trousers (HK$6,480) with leather sandals (all left; HK$4,920) as well as the light-weight burgundy wool knit cardigan (HK$7,680) with canvas cotton trousers (both far left; HK$4,380) that taper at the ankle. Bottega Veneta is in The Landmark, Central, tel: 2973 0882.
Charm offensive
Esprit's edc line for spring-summer is a combination of the themes 'vintage traveller' and 'urban utility'. The collection features casual street wear with vintage and military undertones. We like the light denim button-up shirt (above; HK$799), the Flying Men T-shirt (above; HK$149) and the jeans with wide belt loops (left; HK$799). Esprit is at 50 Queen's Road Central, tel: 2523 1900.
Classic cool
Tommy Hilfiger takes inspiration from classic American fashion this season. Clean-cut staples such as sports blazers, knits, polo shirts and shorts have been reimagined for contemporary men. Standouts include the varsity-style bright green cardigan (HK$1,490), the check shirt (both far right; HK$830) and pink striped shorts (right; HK$790). Tommy Hilfiger is at Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2735 7622.
