HIT PARADE

TO CELEBRATE eight years of broadcasting to the local Filipino community, RTHK's Vilma Gardiner and her sisters are today throwing a monster party in Chater Road.

Gardiner, the host of Mabuhay, and her group Asian Passion will be heading a bill of local entertainers and imported stars from the Philippines. The music kicks off at 4 pm but the celebrations start in earnest three hours earlier with a parade and marching band. A crew from top-rated Filipino television show G.M.A. will be in town to film the event.
