Born to dance

Easter

In a time of precociousness - when there is a whole fashion industry dedicated to children, who can then wear their creations to their own beauty pageants - it is perhaps no surprise that one of the city's most popular nightspots is welcoming minors.

Dragon-i is holding an Easter party for clubbers of the future, who will be encouraged to glam up and get their body moving just like their parents do - or did.

Novel 'kiddy' dance routines will be taught and the party will feature surprise appearances by mascots, a colouring contest, Easter egg hunts, the smashing of a sweet-loaded pinata and booths offering hair braiding, face painting, tattoo transfers and nail-polish decorations. A Lucky 5 will each take home a best costume award.

And there will be cocktails!

Thirst-quenching drinks such as Baby Loves Disco Float, Di Breeze, Mama Mia's Delight and Juicy Babes - all of which are alcohol-free, of course - will complement a menu that includes marshmallows, shrimp strips, crisps, salad, tiramisu, fresh seasoned fruit platters and fruit tarts.

At the end of the party, all children will be given a certificate documenting their participation, a souvenir bag, balloons and sweets to take home.

B-B-Boogie Baby Loves Easter will take place on April 10, from 2pm to 5pm, at Dragon-i, UG/F, The Centrium, 60 Wyndham Street, Central. Adults will be charged HK$150 to get in; children (aged 12 or below) HK$100; Two adults plus three children will cost HK$500. For more information, call 3110 1222.
