MILD panic over at the kitchens of Planet Hollywood where the chefs are praying that they've got the texture of Arnie's mom's apple strudel - a mainstay of the dessert menu - just right. Schwarzenegger should have been here by now to oversee matters apropos the family recipe before Sunday's big bang bash to get the Hong Kong operation under way. But film commitments in the States have put paid to that. And we hear Arnie is distraught. Someone had come up with the idea of flying an apple strudel prepared in the Canton Road kitchen to Arnie on the film set to get his seal of approval. But while this dish has many wonderful qualities, an ability to travel well is definitely not one of them. Arnie, we are assured, will be here as soon as the filming is over. So it will be left to Sylvester Stallone to ensure his partner's family pride is upheld. But considering the rather rude things Sly said to Keeping Posted during his last visit here about his own mum Jackie's abilities in the kitchen, we don't hold up much hope. Things are starting to hot up for the weekend extravaganza with the arrival last night of Steven Seagal. To be followed by Sly, Don Johnson and the rest of the Hollywood pack who are between movies and can make the trip. Bruce Willis (pictured right), fresh from his escapades in Cannes, will be arriving here via Seoul to link up with his rock band, the Red Devils, who'll be jamming at the opening party. We are also told that Willis, who before he went into acting used to, well, do a bit of moonlighting as a barman, will spend some time serving behind the bar at the Planet Hollywood opening. The organisers have even informed us that Willis will pull his first pint for Keeping Posted. If we believe that, we'll believe anything!
