A 12-YEAR-OLD girl was asked to watch her friend have intercourse with a man who was ''teaching'' the friend about sex so she could become a prostitute to help pay off another man's debts, the High Court heard yesterday.

  Both girls agreed to become prostitutes and each had sex with an unknown man the same evening.

  A man and two youths, one only 14 at the time of the offences, yesterday admitted having unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl aged under 13. The Crown offered no evidence against them on rape and false imprisonment charges.

  Wai Kwong, 21, admitted two counts in relation to the 12-year-old victims; Lau Wui-chuen, 15, and Tsoi Yan-chong, 16, pleaded guilty to one count each. Lau was said to have aided and abetted the offences.

  The three and Lee Wai-wing, 20, admitted that three days later they had unlawful sexual intercourse with another girl, aged 14.

  Wai also pleaded guilty to unlawfully detaining both 12-year-olds and falsely imprisoning the 14-year-old.

  Mr Justice Ryan adjourned sentencing until June 15 pending reports.

  Prosecutor, Barry Moorfoot said the two 12-year-old girls were returning home at 2 am on June 20 last year when they were invited to a Kowloon flat by Wai and Hung Chun-kit, who has absconded.

  There Wai and Tsoi had intercourse with one of the girls. At 9 pm that night, Wai told her Hung was in debt and he wanted her to become a prostitute to repay the debt. The girl was frightened and agreed, the court heard.

  A man was then brought into the room to have sex with her, but when he learned she had little experience in sex, he left.

  Wai returned and said he would teach her. He got her friend to watch while he had intercourse with the girl.

   Later, the friend and Wai left and another man aged about 30 entered and had sex with the girl.

  At about 3 am on June 20, Hung had sex with the other girl and by the evening she too had been persuaded to become a prostitute, the court heard. She later had sex with an unknown man.

  In the second incident on June 23, Wai, Hung, Lee, Lau and Tsoi, met the 14-year-old victim in a restaurant in Kwun Tong and Wai threatened that if she did not go with them he would strike her head until it split.

  The court was told they took her to a room in the Kai Lok temporary housing area and Wai demanded $54,000 from her. The victim said she would have to borrow the money.

  Wai refused to let her go, and had sex with her while the others watched. Then each of the defendants had sex with her, watched by the others. Hung and Wai had intercourse again with her later, the court heard.
