COCA-COLA China recently announced that Canto-pop star Aaron Kwok would sing his own rendition of the company's advertising jingle to accompany the new campaign launched in the territory this month. The new television commercials represent a step away from the previous ''one-image, one-sell'' strategy and now each second-phase ad is tailor-made to target different segments of the clientele. Kwok said the tune had a ''modern, catchy, upbeat tempo''. The new song will be launched in television and radio spots in China and Taiwan in the next month and in Hong Kong in early July. Kwok will record two versions, in Cantonese and Mandarin, and a full-length adaptation of the jingle is to be featured on an upcoming solo album.
