FORMER Middlesbrough and Hartlepool United forward Nick Peverell has signed for Hong Kong First Division side Kitchee.
The 21-year-old Peverell, together with the newly-signed Robert Millar and Darron Wilkinson, will join the team's training camp in Jongshan in China at the beginning of August.
After signing six expatriate players, Kitchee officials said they had completed their head-hunting - although they may look for a foreign goalkeeper if their national 'keeper Chung Ho-yin leaves.
Although the club have decided not to keep Chung, it is believed he will stay next season due to a reluctance by the club to rely on young reserve goalkeeper Luk Kar-wing.
In other team news, former Manchester United defender Mike Duxbury has agreed to join new First Division team, Golden.
Duxbury, who won 10 full England caps during his professional career, signed an initial one-month contract.
