Virgin goes for diners

THE blizzard of incentives from Virgin Atlantic Airways has been extended: Mid-Class passengers are being given the option to claim one year's free membership of the Sheraton Hotels' Asia-Pacific accommodation and dining scheme, Platinum Privilege.

Benefits include five 50 per cent discount vouchers for one-night stays in any of the more than 30 Asian hotels in the scheme, together with one complimentary meal at each of the 15 participating restaurants when at least one other meal is purchased.

The membership card and room vouchers are fully transferable, so family friends and business associates could also use them.

Mid-Class passengers may alternatively opt for three days' Avis self-drive car hire in Britain.
