FRESH sea breezes and easy access to Central are only two of the advantages of living in Pokfulam, on the southwest of Hong Kong island.

  Scenic Villas is a quiet estate that has several older-style apartment blocks at the end of a private driveway.

  The flat now available for sale is on the ground floor, but nonetheless has commanding and unobstructed views of the sea.

   Two additional bedrooms face the front of the apartment and also have built-in cupboards.

  At the end of a dividing corridor is a family bathroom with pale green fittings.

  The estate has its own florist and supermarket for the convenience of residents and a minibus service from outside the apartment provides a regular service to Central.

   At the top end of the drive is an outdoor pool, and two grass tennis courts. There is also a children's play area.

  The apartment would make a lovely family home for those who appreciate a quality environment and the rare pleasures of a very quiet living space.
