A SAUNA worker tied up a masseuse and raped her repeatedly over five days after trying to extort $50,000, the High Court heard yesterday.
He then allegedly blackmailed her with degrading photographs of her ordeal that he threatened to send to her family if she went to police.
Prosecutor Alan Lucas said Ng Chi-hung, 36, attacked the masseuse on May 15 last year, after offering to help sort out a row with her former bosses, who were demanding she pay $10,000 for breach of contract.
Mr Lucas said: ''He punched her, kicked her, ordered her to strip her clothes off, tied her on the bed and covered her face with clothing. He then raped her.
''When she was untied the accused told her she owed him $50,000 because of his efforts through the contacts of 'big brothers' to try and sort out the problem she was having with the sauna.'' The jury heard Ng raped the 33-year-old masseuse, who was married with a young daughter, a second time that night and again in the morning.
Mr Lucas said: ''The accused took a series of photographs of the victim, initially of her dressed and later of her completely naked being directed by the accused to adopt particular poses.
