A DEAD serious anti-corruption message was conveyed with a smile and a song at a concert organised by 104 FM Select, and held at Whampoa Garden recently.
The entertainers made it clear that although the wrappings were shiny and attractive, the contents of the package were important.
The drift of the message was that all of us had a duty to keep Hong Kong ''clean'', and that avoiding shady and dishonest dealings was one way of making our homeland prosperous and stable.
The singers delivering the message were Choi Chai-man, Yvonne Lau Man-kuen, Chiu Hok-yee, Raymond Cho Wing-lim, Ricky Fan Chun-fung, Cheung Shun-kei and Cheung Shun-tak.
The Deputy Director of 104 FM Select, Leung On-kee, said: ''We are putting in our best efforts into the anti-corruption campaign, showing the public that corruption just does not pay.''
