THE World Cup has finally gone 'home'. Brazil created history when they beat Italy 3-2 on penalties to win the most important trophy in world sport for an unprecedented fourth time. After 52 matches across the United States, the final was decided when Italy's Roberto Baggio put his penalty kick over the bar. Never before has the World Cup been decided on spot-kicks. Victory broke a 24-year drought for the Brazilians, who can now justifiably claim to be the greatest team in the world.
