THE insider dealing tribunal report into Success Holdings is expected be released at 9.30 am today, and it is understood the report is likely to recommend the two people involved be fined and the company directors censured.
Success Director Tony Lau Hon-chung and his girlfriend Chan Dan-nar each face fines of up to $790,000.
It is understood they will not be fined anywhere near that amount because of their co-operation with the insider dealing inquiry.
The tribunal has also implemented other punishments.
They may include a ban on Mr Lau becoming a director of a public company.
An earlier inquiry found that the two were involved in insider dealing in Success shares in mid-1992.
The two were able to make a profit of $263,663 from the dealing and under the law they are liable to a fine of up to three times the profit made.
