THE Hang Seng Bank credit card commercial - titled Dinner - by ad agency McCann-Erickson has won a place in the final of the Best Television Advertising category at the MasterCard Asia/Pacific annual meeting awards. Kitty Lun of McCann-Erickson said the commercial - to promote the Duo Card strategy for Hang Seng Bank - was one of three ads in a series using the ''Tokyo Love Story'' plot which featured two young couples. MasterCard recognised 16 financial institutions in Asia/Pacific for excellence in the marketing and advertising of the MasterCard brand with their markets. The four grand winners were from Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and New Zealand. Among the finalist awards were banks operating in China - the Bank of China - as well as in Hong Kong, Indonesia and the Philippines.
