Singapore woos China

SINGAPORE'S Trade Development Board (TDB) is leading a group of nine companies to Beijing to participate in the China International Computer Expo for the first time.

The TDB said participating companies included those in software development, and those dealing in computer hardware and telecommunications.

The China International Computer Expo '94 begins today and ends on August 13.

The TDB said it hoped to promote Singapore as a source of computer, software and computer-related products.

Last year, Singapore's total exports of computer systems, peripherals and parts to China stood at about US$29.4 million, according to the TDB.

A RANGE of new PC products has been released on to the market by Legend Holdings.
