CHUANG'S Consortium International says it will offer space in its new Chuang's Enterprises Building in Wan Chai next week on ''unprecedentedly attractive'' payment terms. In a bid to drum up interest in lacklustre office sales, Chuang's said buyers would be allowed to pay the final balance of 70 per cent of the purchase price one year after the occupation permit was issued. The developer also guaranteed to lend 60 per cent of the purchase price to any buyers wishing to take advantage of its unusual offer. Chuang's will kick off by offering six floors in the building for sale on Monday, at an average $10,500 per square foot. The developer believes this is considering more favourable than the $17,000 per sq ft being asked for space in the nearby Pearl Oriental Centre. The 22-storey Chuang's building is on a corner site, bounded by Lockhart Road and Marsh Road, with the tower built at 45 degrees to the street, giving it a harbour view. The available floor plates measure about 2,500 sq ft, and are on the 10th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th and 19th floors. The first to third floors have been reserved for restaurants and shops.
