The rock 'n' roller's brick ranch-style house south of Memphis is open for tours from Wednesdays through Saturdays for US$5 (about $40) for adults and US$2.50 for children and seniors.
''We actually have a functioning family life here, so we can't do it every day,'' Lewis' sixth wife, Kerrie, said.
The Lewises' seven-year-old son, Lee, also lives in the house.
Visitors will get to see the 58-year-old Lewis' gold records and the piano his parents bought for him at age nine by mortgaging their home.
