A SOLICITOR is to help the Luk family appeal for a heavier sentence for the chloroform killers.
Elaine Luk Yee-ling, 21, was killed last July after being indecently assaulted by her summer job boss Hon Leung-fong, 33.
Hon was jailed for 81/2 years on Tuesday and his lover, Phoebe Wong Yim-ping, 28, who helped to carry out what Mr Justice Leonard described as a ''wicked scheme'', was given seven years.
The Luk family last night met solicitor and the vice-president of the United Democrats, Albert Ho Chun-yan, who said he would help them ask the Attorney-General to review the sentence.
The Attorney-General last month rejected calls for a review of a six-year jail term imposed on Chin Yin-ho, who strangled her lover's wife and then chopped up the body and burned it.
But Mr Ho said the Chin case could not be compared to the chloroform case.
