Yili overcomes counterfeiters

SHENZHEN Yili Mineral Water Co has posted interim profits of 18.05 million yuan (about HK$16 million), an 80 per cent jump over the same period last year and which represents 50.4 per cent of its annual target.

The interim results were achieved in the face of ''serious counterfeiting'' of the company's bottled mineral water, the company said.
