CUSTOMS officers seized more than 12,000 items of Chinese medicine believed to contain substances controlled under (protection of endangered species) laws at the China ferry terminal yesterday. The seizure included 9,960 pieces of musk and tiger bone analgesic plasters, 1,194 pills, 834 bottles of oil for rheumatism and 440 kidney-strengthening pills, and was worth about $28,500.
