Horrendous

THE congestion during the morning and evening rush-hours on Tuen Mun Road has now become intolerable.

On the morning of August 18, I was stuck in a crowded bus for more than two hours.

It was a hot day; the temperature was around 31 degrees.

On the previous morning, it took me two hours to get from my home in Tuen Mun to Hong Kong Island.

Over half that time was spent in a massive traffic jam on Tuen Mun Road.

Things were not much better when I returned home in the evening.
